The Green Team created pinecone bird feeders to hang around the school. We hope that these feeders will help the birds survive the cold winter weather. Click HERE to see pictures of our feeders!
If you would like to make a bird feeder at home you can follow these steps:
- Find a pinecone
- Tie a string in a loop at the top of the pinecone
- Roll the pinecone in butter
- Roll the pinecone in birdseed
- Hang the pinecone
- Repeat steps 3 and 4 when all the bird seed is gone
