                                                                                                28th April 2017

Dear Parents/Guardians,

Hope you had a lovely holiday ! Everyone has settled back to school after a great holiday and we are looking forward to a busy few weeks ahead with lots of additional activities planned alongside school work.

Already we have had a lovely start to the term with our music workshops with Paul Maher from Simply Music this week.  The children loved the experience of creating their own music using technology and various musical instruments. Our fifth classes also began their creative writing/poetry workshops with Seamus Cashman which they really enjoyed. These will run for a further five weeks.

Our camogie team won their first match of the season on Wednesday afternoon while our hurling team were narrowly defeated on Thursday.  Well done to both teams on a superb effort !  Preparation has started for the cross country final which will be held at Corkagh Park on May 11th and Santry finals on May 29th. We have a great turnout at lunchtime for training at lunch time which is fantastic to see.

Next week our Junior Classes will begin their Gymnastics workshops on Tuesday. These will take place during the school day and will be facilitated by Rachel Kavanagh, gymnastics teacher. So far lots happening at LETS . We hope everyone will have a safe and successful last term in the school.
