As you may be aware, there is a school practice of not facilitating invitations to be issued by children to other children in school.  If a birthday party is being organised by a family, we ask that party invitations are circulated by parents (not the children), outside of normal school hours. Whilst it is natural that children will be excited and want to discuss a party, other children may be upset that they may not get invited etc.

Whilst your child’s teacher may organise something special on their birthday, such as their class singing “Happy Birthday” to them, we ask that parents / guardians do not send in cakes / sweets / party bags for the class.
